Grob G-115

From PlaneSpottingWorld, for aviation fans everywhere

The Grob G 115 is an advanced two-seat, fixed tricycle gear general aviation airplane, primarily used for flight training. The E variant is in RAF service as an elementary flying trainer where it is known as the Tutor. The aircraft is constructed of advanced composite materials and each wing is a single piece.

Grob G115E Tutor

Although the aircraft is fully aerobatic (to +6G and -3G) it betrays its manufacturer's glider heritage through its slow roll-rate and tendency to float on landing, both a consequence of the aircraft's very high aspect ratio wing.
