Trimotor

A trimotor is an aircraft powered by three piston engines. An aircraft with three jet engines is a trijet.
Trimotor designs were relatively common in the early days of aviation, as engines were less powerful and less reliable.
Notable trimotors include:

- The Ford Trimotor or "Tin Goose" (USA, 1926)
