Summary

1950's -- C-119 Flying Boxcars from the 314th Troop Carrier Group in Japan do not fly to Korea unless weather reports are good. They must be able to see the tiny drop zone for combat cargo on the peak before they can drop. In radio contact with the "men on mountains," the pilots circle hoping for a break in clouds and drop on lower slopes. The planes have had to return to Japan as many as three times without dropping cargo, but the pilots are persistent, and eventually drop successfully.
