Brantly International, founded by Newby O. Brantly, is an aviation company based in Vernon, Texas, United States. The company started out as Brantly Helicopter Corporation in the 1950s.

Brantly himself was an engineer and aircraft designer. He designed the Brantly B-1, B-2, and Brantly 305 model helicopters. The B-1 was a coaxial configuration and first flew in 1946, but was never put into production. The B-2 was certified in 1959 and produced until 1968. The 305 was certified in 1965 and entered production. The Brantly Helicopter Corporation was sold to the Lear Jet company in 1966. They stopped production of Brantly helicopters in 1968. The tooling and design data of Brantly models changed hands many times until 1994 when it was acquired by the newly formed Brantly International Inc. They obtained an Federal Aviation Administration production certificate in 1996 and have been in production ever since.

As an aside, Mr. Brantly also holds U.S. Pat. No. 3,665,929, awarded on May 30, 1972, for a particular brassiere design. He also holds American and Canadian patents for a "pump jack".
